Case Study: Shure Incorporated Training

Services:  Technology training and executive briefing

Overview

Our staff was retained by Shure Incorporated (Niles, IL) to provide technical training and briefing services to their engineering and marketing staff.  The purpose of the training was to provide them with a solid background on the technology issues faced by systems integrators when deploying network-based audio and control systems utilizing various TCP/IP protocols and technologies.

Background

ShureShure Incorporated (started in 1925) is a manufacturer of high quality professional microphones and audio electronics.  As the company increased its offering of products that “live on the IP network” it was necessary that their audio engineering staff and marketing staff had a good understanding of networking protocols.  Since many of their products are designed for “fixed installation” by A/V contractors, they also needed to have an understanding of the challenges these contractors faced as they deployed Shure network-based products into their applications.

Our staff provided training classes for employees, as well as technology briefings for management.
